Hand encourages local students February 2011 | Jennifer Cohron Daily Mountain Eagle Maddox Middle School sixth graders learned about the four c's -- confidence, choices, courage and character -- from local author Edie Hand last week. Hand's presentation was the launch of her "You Pave the Way" program in area schools. It is based on her book "31 Things to Raise a Child's Self-esteem," which she co-wrote with clinical psychologist Dr. Judy Kuriansky. Read More |
